BOOKS

So- Part of my OCD issues manifests itself by reading. And reading. AND reading…

Reading means collecting books to use for learning, not just enjoyment. Adult coloring books have become a staple in most homes nowadays, but did you know that they provide more to learning about art than just coloring?

Not only does the coloring book artist practice different coloring and shading techniques, but often apply mixed media in the form of markers, gel pens, crayon, and different types of watercolor/wax pencils. Another advantage is that, in the process of coloring, your muscles are committing lines and angles to memory! In other words- you’re learning how to sketch!

In this section, I’ll list the different books in my collection and any projects I’ve done/learned from that particular book. Remember- this is YOUR artwork, and it will be as individual as you! Isn’t that awesome?
